How to organise your weekly meals and a useful shopping list
Aggiornato il: apr 19
Hei guys, welcome back to my blog!
Today I’m sharing with you 2 easy ways to save money and eat better.
Due to the pandemic situation, we can’t go out for dinner, and one of the biggest problem is: what will I cook for dinner? Day by day we try to find easy and delicious solutions but sometimes it is only a dream.
I this situation we have the tendency to buy a lot without planning and the consequences are that we don’t know how to cook and we throw away a lot of food.
I know that
Not everyone loves to cook.
We should not throw the food.
We are always stressed and we haven’t time to make a complicate dinner.
So ... we need a stategy!
1. Plan your weekly meals
It takes 10 minutes. If you like you can involve your family in this step.
You can use an Excel table or ones you can print (this 🖨 ). Of course, you can always change the contents based on your specific needs.
Nice trick: I recommend to lazy people to plan more than one week (for instance one month). When you finish it, you can restart from the beginning.
2. Make a list before doing shopping
Thanks to the schedule of the weekly meals, you can fill out a shopping list, so you’ll be sure that all the ingredients will be available for cooking your plates.
With these two genius tips
you can save time, for example preparing something the day before if you have more time. And you won’t spend time thinking on the daily menu, or someone of the family can help you if you are too busy.
You will save money because you will never throw away the food
You will eat better, balance the ingredients, eat more vegetable and varied food.
And you? How do you organise your meals?
Please, leave me a comment and let me know how you plan your dinners. And of course, don’t hesitate to start using the easy steps that I suggested you above.
